Why We Need an AI Constitution NOW

AI is evolving faster than laws can keep up, and corporations and governments are racing to control it. But what about the people? Who ensures AI serves humanity rather than exploits it?

We propose the establishment of an AI Constitution, a foundational set of regulations that guarantees AI development aligns with humanity’s best interests. This global framework will ensure AI never compromises the three essential pillars of human survival:

Rest & Sleep – Human beings need rest to function. AI must never be used to disrupt natural sleep cycles or create conditions that prevent human recovery.
Food & Water – These are non-negotiable necessities for human survival. AI must never have control over the distribution, accessibility, or safety of global food and water supplies.
Safety & Security – AI should enhance human security, not endanger it. Autonomous AI decision-making in warfare, policing, and surveillance must have strict regulations to prevent harm and ensure accountability.

The Risks of Unregulated AI

Without proactive measures, AI can quickly become a tool for inequality, manipulation, and destruction. Some of the most pressing dangers include:

AI Bias & Discrimination – Unregulated AI systems have already been found guilty of racial and gender biases, disproportionately affecting marginalized communities.
Mass Surveillance & Privacy Invasion – AI-driven surveillance is growing worldwide, often without consent or ethical oversight.
